  Fettucine w/ Smoked Salmon

Ingredients:
2 cups dried fettucine, broken into pieces
4 cups chicken broth or water
1 tsp salt
6 T butter
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/3 cup fresh chives or scallions, chopped or 2 tsp dried
2 T fresh thyme or 2 tsp dried
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 pound smoked salmon, cut into bite sized pieces
1/2 cup light sour cream
1/2 cup grated fontinella
Instructions:
In large pot, bring broth & salt to rolling boil. Add pasta & stir well. Reduce heat to med 7 cook until tender. Drain.

Melt butter in large skillet. Saute garlic, chives & thyme. Stir well. Toss the pasta with herbed the herbed butter & cook over med heat for 2 min. Add pepper & smoked salmon pieces, then dot with sour cream. Stir & toss gently over med heat. Transfer to platter & sprinkle with gratede fontinella.

Serves 6.
