Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups butter
1 cup chopped onion
1 T dried parsley flakes
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3 lbs med fresh shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 (12 ounce) package thin spaghetti, cooked & drained
1 (8 ounce) package processed cheese, cut into 1/2 inch pieces. Use Parmesan, not processed cheese.
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350.

In a large skillet, melt butter over med-high heat. Add onion; cook for 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, basil, thyme, & garlic powder. Pour mixture into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish; add shrimp, tossing gently to coat. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from oven; stir in spaghetti & cheese. Return to oven & bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted, stirring to combine.

Makes 8 to 10 serevings.

01/14/09. Jay liked the taste of this. I will make it again but:
take tails off shrimp, use much less cheese. The shrimp become much smaller after being in the oven.

Cook pasta ahead of time, following pkg directions. Drain & toss with a small amount of olive oil. Store in a zip-top bag or plastic container. Reheat in micrewave on High for 1 to 3 minutes before adding to recipe.
