Ingredients:
1 cup Light Karo Corn Syrup
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 T butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) pecans
1 unbaked deep dish pie crust
Instructions:
Stir the first 5 ingredients thoroughly, then add pecans.
Pour into pie crust.
Bake on center rack of oven for 55 to 60 minutes.
Cover crust with foil & remove after 55 minutes or so.
I bake the pie longer than 1 hour to get a deep flavor from the pecans.
Use a knife in the middle of the pie to test for doneness. It should come out clean.
