  Shrimp-Cheese Balls

Ingredients:
1/2 cup toasted pecans or mixed salted nuts
2 3-ounce pkgs cream cheese, quartered
1 thin slice of small onion
1 1/2 tsp prepared mustard
1 tsp lemon juice
dash salt
dash cayenne
1 4 1/2-ounce can shrimp, drained
Instructions:
Place steel blade in work bowl; add nuts. Process till finely chopped; remove & set aside.

Reinsert metal blade; add cream cheese, onion, mustard, lemon juice, salt & cayenne. Process until smooth.

Add drained shrimp; process with 2 or 3 on/off turns just until mixed.

Transfer cheese mixture to covered container; chill about 2 hours. Shape chilled mixture into 1/2-inch balls; roll in chopped nuts.

Makes 40.
